About IGAD!

Hi everyone!

My name is Mariah and I give a damn! I am the founder of the brand “I Give a Damn” and am extremely excited to share it with everyone! This idea came to me a few months ago when my dad told me “Come up with a list of 10 things that you enjoy and make you happy.” When he told me this I thought “okay piece of cake!” I really enjoy puppies and naps and hanging out with friends. I sent him my list of 10 things and he didn’t approve. He told me it needed to be a deeper answer. The things I care about and make me the happiest the most such as my family, going on vacation to discover new places, making sure I show the people I love how much they mean to me, etc.

This whole thing with my dad got me thinking about what I truly care about, or what I really give a damn about. Well, I give a damn about finding a cure for the nasty Parkinson’s disease that took away my grandma. I give a damn about our veterans and active military that did and continue to risk their lives everyday for this country. I give a damn about our firefighters, EMTs, and police officers who put their lives on the line to make sure others stay safe. Thinking about all of the things I give a damn about, got me wondering what other people would say if given the question “what do you give a damn about?” I thought, what if I started a line of clothing, where people could boldly show what they give a damn about, and this is where “I Give a Damn” or IGAD, was born. When you buy an IGAD shirt, you are proudly showing what you give a damn about. Not only that, but for every shirt purchased, a percentage of the profits will go towards a charity in that category, to show them that you give a damn too. Show your family, friends, and strangers what you give a damn about, and tell them to give a damn too!
